Funders Collaborative Grants Nearly $500K in Fourth Quarter of 2014

In the fourth quarter of 2014, the Funders Collaborative awarded 4 grants totaling $460,000 to advance our goals of building a strong local economy and creating vibrant transit-oriented places. The grants awarded this quarter include:

Strong Local Economy

The Initiative for a Competitive Inner City was awarded a $20,000 grant to support an analysis of procurement and spending at 13 educational and medical institutions participating in the Central Corridor Anchor Partnership.

Vibrant Transit-Oriented Places

The Local Initiatives Support Corporation was awarded $250,000 to support the second phase of the Central Corridor as Cultural Corridor project.

The Saint Paul Riverfront Corporation received a $135,000 investment to support the 2015 work of the Central Corridor Design Center.

The Trust for Public Land was awarded $55,000 to support the implementation of strategies in the Green Line Parks and Commons guidebook.

In 2014, the Funders Collaborative awarded 20 grants, totaling $1,584,851.  To date, the Funders Collaborative has made 136 grants, totaling over $10M in four key areas: Access to Affordable Housing, Strong Local Economy, Vibrant Transit-Oriented Places and Coordination and Collaboration.
